Who we are
We are a Christian movement dedicated to serving the most vulnerable, especially widows, orphans, prisoners, and families facing hardship. Guided by faith and compassion, we bring hope, restore dignity, and demonstrate God's love through practical acts of service.
As the mission grew, it built its first house for a widow, laying the foundation for a lasting ministry. Today, Vomera Abandi continues to build homes, support hospital patients, visit prisoners, care for orphaned children, and restore hope to vulnerable communities across Burundi through faith, compassion, and practical service.
Our Story
A society where every widow, orphan, and vulnerable person lives with dignity, security, and hope
Founded by Daniel Ntiranyibwira, Vomera Abandi Association is a legally registered Christian association recognized under Ministerial Order No 530/068 of Feb. 1st, 2023 Inspired by Daniel’s childhood experiences of hardship, the association began with simple acts of compassion—clothing widows and helping vulnerable hospital patients through members’ voluntary contributions.
